Bill is a native of Massachusetts. He currently serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer with Shawmut Design and Construction based in Boston Massachusetts.

Bill has direct responsibility for Shawmut’s day-to-day operations where he utilizes a unique combination of skills involving operations, business management, people development, business development, and is experienced with large, continuously changing organizations. These skills have been useful in his role of driving Shawmut’s business goals and objectives, as well as his work leading the Senior Management Team on developing strategies for continuing Shawmut’s growth and promoting the unique culture including Shawmut’s social responsibility agenda.

Since joining Shawmut in 2000 the company has increased its number of employees from 200 to 650, and seen its annual revenue increase to more than $650 million. Prior to joining Shawmut Bill served as an Area General Manager for Johnson Controls and in multiple leadership and management positions with General Electric and Boston Edison.

Bill holds a B.S. Degree from Bridgewater State College and currently serves on the Economic Development Board of The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and the Construction Management Board at Roger Williams College.
