A Festival of Wreaths

The first annual Festival of Wreaths — a holiday event sponsored by Van Millwork Design Center in Needham to benefit the Room to Dream Foundation — was an outstanding success, raising over $20,000.00.

Lavishly decorated one-of-a-kind wreaths, trees and centerpieces, designed and donated by the areas top interior designers and florists were on display within the nine-individually themed rooms of the design center. Patrons had the opportunity to enter raffles for each of the wreaths throughout the venue. The opening night black-tie optional Gala on Friday, December 8th, was a fun-filled evening, affording the Foundation the opportunity to spread the word to friends and others who arrived with a festive spirit and generous spirit to help support the cause. The Festival Open House continued throughout the weekend and welcomed over 200 visitors who enjoyed the festive décor, photos with Santa and the opportunity to partake in the raffle.

The Van Millwork Design Center is a first-of-its-kind facility showcasing unique architectural trim, integrated with distinctive fabrics, wall coverings, flooring and light fixtures. The 4,200 square foot facility features nine architecturally themed rooms that reflect the architectural period represented by the trim work in each space.
