Mark your calendar NOW to be a part of the 2nd Annual Room to dream Golf Tournament at the exclusive Golf Club at Turner Hill, Monday, June 22, 2009 in Ipswich, Mass! Third Annual Festival of Wreaths and GalaVan Millworks Needham The Festival of Wreaths Showhouse was expanded to two weeks and offered juried designers - who decorated all nine theme based spaces – the opportunity to shine. Designers were encouraged to stay true to the theme of their room though they may choose any seasonal holiday they wish (Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa). A Gala and Silent Auction was held on the final night of the Festival and raised nearly $18,000 to help create more healing environments for chronically ill children. Bloomingdale’s Benefit to Support the Room to Dream FoundationFebruary 2008 The Room to Dream Foundation participated in a “Shopping Benefit” on at Bloomingdale’s,Chestnut Hill Mall, Newton. Ticket holders were entitled to special discounts in the store, and Bloomingdale’s gave 100% of the ticket price back to the Foundation! Salon DeCinziaNovember 2007 A Cutathon held on Friday, at Salon DeCinzia in Newton was a HUGE success and raised more then $9,000! Several SALON DECINZIA staff have worked regularly on Room to Dream Projects and to continue their support, they created the fund raising event, where clients scheduled a haircut for $50 and the money was donated to the Foundation. 6th Annual Bayshore Road Race - BraintreeOctober 2007 A Run or walk (5k or 10K) and party with food, games, demos, music, and a whole lot more netted significantly for the Foundation. Field of Beers EventApril 2007 Sierra Nevada Brewing Company featured a five-course, gourmet dinner prepared by the Cask’s Executive Chef, Kurt Vogel. Each course was complimented by a different Sierra Nevada specialty beer. Billy Costa from KISS 108 MC’d and entertained guests during the Silent Auction. Over $10,000 was raised for the Room to Dream Foundation. A Hero Among Us
